There was a special meeting of the Flemingsburg City Council on Thursday, September 20, 2007 at 6:15 p.m. in the City Annex. Council members present were Ricky Hurst, Mary Voiers, Scott Manning, Georgianna Sparks, Meredith Story and Van Alexander. Mayor Louie K. Flanery presided.

Councilwoman Sparks led the Pledge of Allegiance. Joetta Marshall presented the second reading of Ordinance No. 9-07-1 regarding the tax rate on motor vehicles of $0.1977 per $100.00 assessed value within the City. Councilman Hurst made the motion to approve. Councilman Manning seconded the motion. A roll call was given with all voting in favor.

Joetta Marshall presented the second reading of Ordinance No. 9-07-2 regarding the tax rate on all properties (except motor vehicles) of $0.1474 per $100.00 assessed value within the City. Councilman Story made the motion to approve. Councilman Alexander seconded the motion. A roll call was given with all voting in favor.

There was no further business. Council Manning moved to adjourn at 6:25 p.m. Councilwoman Sparks seconded the motion. All were in favor.
