The Fire Dept. participated in various fire prevention activities throughout the year. Grant funds were received through the KY Dept. of Homeland Security to upgrade mobile radio equipment. Members attended various Regional and State Fire Schools. A new fire truck has been ordered and expected to arrive in mid 2013. Funding to purchase the truck was awarded through USDA.
