There was a special meeting of the Flemingsburg City Council Monday, November 24, 2014 at 5:00 p.m.  Council members present were Kathy Moore, Scott Manning, Georgianna Sparks, Meredith Story, and Van Alexander.  Ricky Hurst was absent.  Mayor Martin L. Voiers presided.

               Councilwoman Moore led the Pledge of Allegiance.

               Mayor Voiers presented Resolution 14-11-3 adopting a modern and accurate legal description of the Wells Concrete Property previously annexed by ordinance.  Councilwoman Moore moved to approve.  Councilwoman Sparks seconded the motion.  Council voted as follows:  Moore-yes, Manning-yes, Sparks-yes, Story-yes, and Alexander-yes.  Motion carried.

               Mayor Voiers reported that the Ewing School Sewer Project had come in under budget.  There are $85,000 in KIA funds and $220,000 in EPA funds that have been approved to use on the By-Pass utility project.  There are also excess ARC funds, but the City will have to reapply for those funds since they will be used on a different project.  Mayor Voiers presented a grant application for $215,000.  Councilman Story moved to approve.  Councilman Alexander seconded the motion.  Council voted as follows:  Moore-yes, Manning-yes, Sparks-yes, Story-yes, and Alexander-yes.  Motion carried.

               There being no further business Councilman Manning moved to adjourn at 5:10 a.m.  Councilwoman Moore seconded the motion.
