The Flemingsburg City Council held a special meeting Friday, April 23, 2004 at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall. Council members present were Marty Voiers, Carl Haight, Georgianna Sparks, Meredith Story, and Scott Manning. Nancy Suit was absent. Mayor Louie K. Flanery presided.

Councilman Voiers led the Pledge of Allegiance. Councilman Story moved to go into executive session to discuss a personnel matter. Councilman Manning seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Councilman Voiers moved to go out of executive session at 5:28 p.m. Councilwoman Sparks seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Councilman Voiers moved to appoint Councilman Story as Mayor pro-tem to serve as hearing officer for a personnel matter. Councilwoman Sparks seconded the motion. All were in favor.

Councilman Manning moved to adjourn at 5:40 p.m. Councilman Haight seconded the motion. All were in favor.
