The Flemingsburg City Council held a special meeting Monday, January 24, 2005 at 5:00 p.m. in City Hall. Council members present were Marty Voiers, Carl Haight, Nancy Suit, Meredith Story, and Scott Manning. Councilman Robbie Graham was absent. Mayor Louie K. Flanery presided.

Councilman Voiers led the Pledge of Allegiance. Robert Montgomery, C.P.A., presented the annual audit report. Councilman Story moved to approve. Councilman Haight seconded the motion. All were in favor. Montgomery agreed to do the 2005 annual audit.

County Judge Executive Larry Foxworthy addressed Council regarding the dispatch board. Foxworthy recommended adding two additional members to the board who were knowledgeable about the dispatch operation. Mayor Flanery was not in favor of adding paid employees to the board. After a brief discussion the matter was referred to the dispatch committee.

There being no further business, Councilman Manning moved to adjourn at 5:55 p.m. Councilman Haight seconded the motion. All were in favor.
