ROBERT APPLEGATE – Utilities Chief Operator
Rob joined Flemingsburg Utilities in February of 2004 as a plant operator trainee. He successfully completed the Drinking Water Distribution Class II-D operator's certification program in 2006; and the Drinking Water Treatment Class II-A and III-A operator's certification program in 2007. Rob passed the Drinking Water Treatment Class 4-A in 2010 and became a Chief Water Treatment Plant Operator. In 2011 Rob was promoted to Chief Operator over the Utilities.

JASON SYCK - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE
Jason joined the city as a temporary utility employee and was hired full-time in June of 2006. His primary duty is reading meters. Jason passed the Drinking Water Distribution Class 2-D in 2010 and also serves as a member of the Flemingsburg Volunteer Fire Dept.

MIKE BROWN - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE
Mike was hired in April 2007. His primary duty is reading meters.

DANNY R. SHROUT - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE
Danny was hired November 2009 as a part-time Water Treatment Plant Operator Trainee and was hired full-time in March 2010. Danny has also served as a member of the Flemingsburg Volunteer Fire Dept. since 1980 and has achieved the rank of Assistant Fire Chief.

COTY HUNT -PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE
Coty was hired December 2011 as a plant operator trainee.

Greg was hired December 2011 as a plant operator trainee.

SARAH FARROW – UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER
Sarah has served as utility clerk/cashier since August 2001. In addition to utility services, Sarah is also responsible for collection of all City fees including business licenses, occupational and net profit tax fees, and insurance premium taxes.

LISA MARSHALL - UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER
Lisa works for the City as a part-time utility clerk/cashier and assists with all duties of the front office.
