JOE DUNAWAY JR – UTILITIES SUPERINTENDENT

Joe joined the Flemingsburg Wastewater department in October of 1996 as a plant operator trainee. He transferred to City Hall as a computer operator in July of 2000 and served in that position for one year. In August of 2001 he transferred to the Flemingsburg Utilities department as a plant operator trainee. Joe was promoted to Superintendent in August of 2008.

ROBERT APPLEGATE – WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR III

Rob joined Flemingsburg Utilities in February of 2004 as a plant operator trainee. He successfully completed the Drinking Water Distribution Class II-D operator's certification program in 2006; and the Drinking Water Treatment Class II-A and III-A operator's certification program in 2007.

DAVID SHROUT - WATER TREATMENT OPERATOR II

David joined the Flemingsburg Utilities System in June 2006. He successfully completed the Drinking Water Treatment Class I-AD operator's certification program in 2007; and the Drinking Water Distribution Class II-D and Drinking Water Treatment Class II-A operator's certification programs in 2008.

MIKE BROWN - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE

Mike was hired in April 2007. His primary duty is reading meters.

 

 

JASON SYCK - PLANT OPERATOR TRAINEE

Jason joined the city as a temporary utility employee and was hired full-time in June of 2006. His primary duty is reading meters. Jason is also a member of the volunteer Fire Dept.

 

SARAH FARROW – UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER

Sarah has served as utility clerk/cashier since August 2001. In addition to utility services, Sarah is also responsible for collection of all City fees including business licenses, occupational and net profit tax fees, and insurance premium taxes.

LISA MARSHALL - UTILITY CLERK/CASHIER

Lisa works for the City as a part-time utility clerk/cashier and assists with all duties of the front office.
